This page is a Java applet relating to light refraction.  Users view simulated wave refractions as they control incident angle and incident wavelength.  The applet offers a choice of six media ranging from a vacuum (1.00 on the refractive index) to a diamond (2.42 on the refractive index).  Its ease of use makes it an appropriate choice for users with little or no background in physics.

Please note that this resource requires Java Applet Plug-in.
