This web site provides information about an ongoing research project from the Ohio State University Physics Education Research Group on effective uses of in-class polling systems. These electronic "clicker" systems are used in educational settings to allow students to anonymously respond to multiple-choice questions. Clicker questions are designed to probe student understanding of a new concept and promote active learning in large lecture classrooms. The site outlines the research project, provides example questions, and includes links to related research papers.
