Good intro to relativity

This text is excellent for introducing students to special relativity.  It is easy to read, easy to understand, and explains without sounding overly technical.  The examples and problems are classic, illustrating the complexities of relativity with the use of simple math.

Good Qualitative Text

I used this text for my 200 level Spec. Relativity class, and it is excellent and qualitatively explaining the subject matter.  It reads well, and there are brief interruptions of the text by a bird, who helps to dispel misinterpretations you may have about the previous section.  This text would be excellent when used in addition to another book or on its own.  It gives you the quantitative tools needed for S.R. calculations, but it really shines as a qualitative explaination.
