This simple applet shows the motion of an object moving with constant velocity. The user can perform measurements on the simulation to compute the velocity. Options are available to display the position of the object or show a motion diagram displaying ghost images of the object at uniform times.

This is part of a large collection of Physlet-based (Physics Java Applet) illustrations and tutorials covering introductory physics.
