This website provides an illustrated non-calculus course on astronomy, mechanics, the Sun and spaceflight.  It includes 42 lesson plans, a 14-part math course, guidance for teachers, a timeline, a glossary, problems, and hands-on projects. The development follows an historical thread, and stresses intuitive understanding, applications, and connections to society and culture.  Stories of discovery and discoverers are included to engage student interest. Spanish and French translations are available.
