The Solar System Collaboratory website is the main teaching tool of a multi-university collaboration in teaching planetary science. The collaboration's goal is to explore student centered learning using java based research-grade simulation tools. The site provides modules, resources, and demos for teachers and students that cover topics such as planetary astronomy, the greenhouse effect, the scientific method, Kepler's laws, space weather, the sun, and weather on gas giants.
Please note that this resource requires at least version 95 of MS-Windows. Please note that this resource requires at least version 4.5 of Netscape Communicator, or at least version 4.0 of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
