This java applet is an online planetarium, showing the motion of the constellations, planets, and the brightest stars and galaxies. The latitude and longitude for the viewer can be set along with the date, time, and time steps for the motion. Clicking on objects in the sky view will bring up data and pictures, where available, of the objects. The application can be downloaded for offline viewing.
Please note that this resource requires at least version 1.1 of Java.
