Main Document

Three Point Charges Model

written by Andrew Duffy

The Three Point Charges model investigates the force between charged objects. Initially, the simulation sets up three charged objects, one at each corner of an equilateral triangle. The charges have different magnitudes.  The user is asked to rank the charges based on their magnitudes, from largest to smallest.

The Three Point Charges was created using the Easy Java Simulations (EJS) modeling tool.  It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive.  Double clicking the ejs_bu_ThreeCharges.jar file will run the program if Java is installed.
