Description: May 10 2015: All 3 Modeling Workshops are open to teachers nationwide! FREE. Optional FREE graduate credit. FREE housing! The start date might be moved to Tuesday, June 9, if local schools make up a snow day (due to the huge amount of snow last winter).

These three workshops are open to high school physics and chemistry teachers. Ohio teachers have priority. Funding is by the Ohio Board of Regents' Improving Teacher Quality Program.

Location: New Albany High School, 7600 Fodor Rd, New Albany, OH 43054 (near Columbus)

Benefit Explanation: As of January 2015, these workshops received state funding for Ohio teachers, by the Improving Teacher Quality Program of the Ohio Board of Regents (ESEA Title IIA).

Four graduate credits at OSU (optional, FREE), lunch on-site, free instructional materials.

Some housing funds are available.
Other Prerequisites: A mechanics or chemistry Modeling Workshop is prerequisite to the advanced (curriculum development) workshop.
