Physlets won't run in latest release of firefox

Starting with Firefox Version 52 (released in March 2017), Firefox has limited support for plug-ins, and therefore will not run Java.

Java Applets (but not Java programs or the Java language) are deprecated and will soon become impossible to run.  There is nothing that we can do about that other than to convert applet-based curricular material to JavaScript and we are working on the conversions.  But it takes time to rewrite hundreds of curriculum pages.  Here are some Physlet and Physlet-like material that we have posted recently:
