I have been trying to track oscillatory motion in a video, and no matter what options I select, the search area will not move on its own. Having look ahead on or off has no effect. The only way I can track is to pull the box across the entire video (x-axis only), but then it cannot finish because it runs out of memory.

Hi EJ, can you post your oscillation video or a portion of it somewhere (or email to me directly--see the Tracker web site) so I can test? I can't reproduce this error yet.  Thanks. Doug

Hi EJ,

If you haven't yet, I recommend you watch the Tracker Autotracker Tutorial on YouTube. It's one of several Tracker tutorials I've posted recently along with "Getting Started" and "Saving and Sharing Experiments".

You can see all my Tracker tutorials at <https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnh-8DQM3Tm2a1pj05Fb4Uw>.

Sorry, looks like the link to my Tracker tutorials on YouTube got garbled in the last post.  Here's the correct URL:

Look for the "Tracker Autotracker Tutorial."
