This site, from the University of Cambridge, describes an experiment to measure the pressure versus strain of a cylindrical balloon as it is inflated to produce an aneurysm. Photographs show how the balloon looks at various points on the graph. A video shows the experiment in action. The balloon is a model of a weakened artery that bulges out.
