ALPhA's Laboratory Immersions, 2010

These inaugural Laboratory Immersion experiences will provide participants with one to three days of intensive hands-on work with a single advanced laboratory experiment. Topics include Single Photon Quantum Mechanics, LabVIEW (Tentative), Pulsed NMR, Optical Pumping, Modern Interferometry, Mossbauer Spectroscopy, High Temperature Superconductivity, Vacuum Techniques/Thin Film Deposition, Low Noise Signal Detection with Lock-Ins, Saturated Absorption Spectroscopy, and Resonant Absorption and Refraction.
Space will be limited, however, with room for only 12 participants at each site.
