| Additional Information: | Students will participate full-time in research and activities of the REU, such as weekly seminars, workshops, and special events. In addition, they will prepare and present a poster and slides about the research project at the end of the program. Highest priority during recruitment and selection will be given to applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds that are under-represented in science or engineering, and from schools with limited research opportunities, such as area community colleges. |
