This shockwave applet allows the user to build DC circuits and it then simulates how the circuit works. The user can place batteries, light bulbs, wires, switches, ammeters, and voltmeters in the circuit. The applet gives the current and voltage being read by the meters, and lights up the light bulb if appropriate. The simulation also has preset circuits that are designed to demonstrate certain principles, such as Ohm's Law or how series circuits work.
Please note that this resource requires Shockwave.
