Sperry Goodman Scholarship - Seattle University

This scholarship was established with a one million dollar gift from the estate of Sperry Goodman in 1999.

The scholarship is for College of Science and Engineering incoming freshmen for the following majors:

*Electrical and Computer Engineering,  
*Physics or
*Computer Science.

Financial need is considered.

In 1969, Sperry Goodman earned his master's degree in electrical engineering from
Seattle University. Mr. Goodman worked for and made groundbreaking contributions
to the Boeing Company in the field of electrical engineering.

This $5,000 scholarship is renewable for a second year as long as the recipient
maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA in one of the above majors.

The application deadline is March 18, 2013.
