Location of all four Modeling Workshops: Southeast High School, 903 South Edgemoor, Wichita.
Time: 8am to 4pm MTWTh
The wave unit sets the stage for development of a mechanical wave model based on the oscillating particle model. Models are developed for sound and waves in one and two dimensions.
The fields concept is introduced with a study of electricity and magnetism. Similarities in mathematical relationships and units between the gravitational and electrical fields will be developed.
