PHY203: Calculus-based General Physics I, mostly taken by science and math majors (UW-L does not have an engineering program, but has a 3/2 dual-degree option for the physics major). The course was taught in a large lecture format in 2010-2011 where students met three days a week for an hour and had a separate 2-hour laboratory. It changed to a studio format starting in 2011-2012 (integrated lab/lecture) where students meet twice a week for 2.5 hours in a class section of approximately 30 students. Each section is co-taught by the same two instructors.
