The University of Central Arkansas was historically the state teachers’ college. We have a long tradition of producing physics teachers. The Department of Physics and Astronomy is committed to producing physics teachers for the 21st century.  The University is a UTeach replication site funded by the State of Arkansas.  The Department of Physics and Astronomy is an active participant in the UCA STEMteach effort.
