The department is involved with the preparation of Physical Science teachers. We gradaute approximately half a dozen Secondary Ed Physics teachers each year.

Currently Dr. Yasmin is chair of the Curriculum Committee of the EEMS (Excellence in Elementary Math Science Education). This is new program being developed so as to graduate better prepared future teachers.
