Although Fairmont State University has had an undergraduate Physics Teaching Specialization for many years, there have been very few graduates of late. Working with other colleges and universities in West Virginia, we are developing a cooperative physics teacher specialization curriculum that will be largely on-line.  We also plan to shape the curriculum so that it will be available and attractive to current teachers seeking a certification in physics teaching.

As the statement implies, we are making major changes in our program.  We will be reporting on the status as time goes on.
