Rutgers Physics Technology Resource Wins Science SPORE Prize

Rutgers was recently awarded the monthly Science Prize for Online Resources in Education (SPORE) for their website, Rutgers Physics Teaching Technology Resource. The website contains more than 200 real-life videos of physics experiments that students can view and analyze. The website was selected because of its innovative approach, which involves among other techniques the use of slow-motion video to help students grasp physics concepts through the presentation of everyday occurrences.
