Energize Undergraduate Physics Courses with Computation!
Who should apply: All physics faculty, especially those who have not yet attempted to integrate computation into their undergraduate physics courses.
In this workshop participants, with the assistance of the workshop coordinators, will develop a viable, personalized plan for integrating computation into their undergraduate physics course(s) to be implemented in the upcoming academic term.
- Local expenses will be covered for all accepted participants.
- A limited number of travel scholarships may be available to applicants whose home institutions are unable to provide supportive travel funding. The scholarships will provide partial or full reimbursement of travel costs to and from the workshops.
There is room in the workshop for 24 faculty participants, and it is expected that there will be more applicant interest than available positions; thus, interested applicants are encouraged to apply at their earliest convenience. Applicants will be notified in the Spring of 2017 if they have been accepted to participate. To apply, follow the link at the bottom of this page.
