|Abstract Title:||Teaching a Hybrid Online Course in Electricity and Magnetism Using Multimedia Learning Modules (MLM)|
|Abstract:||As part of a hybrid course in a calculus-based introductory E&M at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, we have implemented Multimedia Learning Modules through the blackboard learning management system. The integration of the web-based Multimedia Learning Modules introduces students to basic physics content prior to class and allows instructors to focus on more in-depth application of the concepts. We will describe the research project and discuss the impact it had on student preparation, exam performance, and their attitude towards online material.|
