Physlets on ComPADRE
North Carolina Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers Event
In a recent survey of college and university faculty, Physlets were one of the most recognized research-based instructional strategies, second only to Peer Instruction, and one of the most used instructional strategies. Over the past two years, we have been working with the ComPADRE staff to get Physlet-based materials onto the ComPADRE digital library. To this end, we have recently published the second edition of Physlet Physics and Physlet Quantum Physics as stand-alone collections on ComPADRE. These collections contain over 1,200 interactive exercises for the teaching of introductory physics, introductory and intermediate modern physics, and intermediate and advanced quantum mechanics. In this talk we describe the new collections and how we are using ComPADRE features to make Physlet-based materials even more useful for teachers.
