This Nova site presents the science of wildfires. Sections provide information on how firefighters are outfitted, how plants have adapted to wildfires, the physics and chemistry of fire, and more. Also, visitors can use a simulation to explore how fires spread.  A description of the challenges and dangers faced in producing this Nova program are included.
