The Cassini Solstice Mission to Saturn is producing spectacular images in its passes by the ringed planet. The NASA site has information about the mission including press releases, videos, products, an image gallery, posters, slides, and references about Saturn.  Materials are geared to different ages and levels of understanding.

This splendid NASA site presents up-to-the-minute images from the Cassini-Huygens mission, which is a project of NASA, the European Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency. Each day a different image is added, and all the previous ones can easily be accessed in the image archives. Text provides information and relevant links. There even are streaming videos (you will need QuickTime or RealPlayer).

The section "Cassini at Saturn" offers 2005 Tour highlights and 2004 milestones as well. In perhaps the most exciting section, "Huygens Mission to Titan," text and drawings describe the successful descent of the Huygens craft onto the surface of the moon Titan.

The site also offers information on flight operations, the history of the spacecraft and "ground system" development, and more. With so many sections, the site map comes in handy for navigation and especially helps to make sure you don't miss anything interesting. And you can come back, since the Tour milestones extend to 2007!
